At a recent Stadia Discovery Event in San Jose, church-planting candidates and couples were being prayed over, commissioned, and sent out to start new churches. It was a powerful, sacred moment. Then, something unexpected happened—a pizza delivery man walked in.

As he stepped into the room, he was overwhelmed by the love, purpose, and unmistakable presence of God. Moved to tears, he shared with one of our church planter guides that a friend had been inviting him to visit the church hosting Discovery, but he had never been able to attend because he worked Sundays. That day, something changed. In that moment, he made a life-altering decision—he chose to follow Jesus.
